Michael Stuchlik:
Mike has been President of Stuchlik & Associates since 2005. Originally a Lincoln Nebraska native, he still resides here with his family; wife Joan and daughters Erika and Anna. Mike graduated from University of Nebraska at Lincoln with a degree in Computer Science and Finance, and later started in the Insurance business in 1985 when he partnered with his father’s agency. In 2005, he purchased the agency from his father and became the forth generation agency owner in the family.
Mike takes pride in taking care of his clients and building strong relationships with them. Above all he enjoys watching them succeed in their business’s and life. Because Mike feels that education is an important part of his career, he obtained the Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) designation in 1990 and continues to take continuing education to stay up on top of the changing markets.
Mike works hard to provide his clients with confidence and peace of mind that they are provided for and protected. When not spending time in the office and with clients, he enjoys spending time with his family, and enjoys the outdoors.
Deon Dragoo:
Deon joined Stuchlik & Associates in January of 2005 and became part owner in 2008. Prior to coming to Stuchlik & Associates, Deon worked on the company side of the insurance industry. He was with Allied Insurance for 8 years serving many different positions. Prior to that, Deon was with Farmers Mutual of Nebraska as a claims adjuster.
Deon has earned both his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation and his Associate In Claims (AIC) designation.
Leslie R Oestreich:
Leslie obtained her property & casualty license in 2017 when she began her insurance career with Stuchlik & Associates.
Her primary focus with the agency is assisting with the commercial insurance accounts.
Ashley Burson:
Ashley attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and received her Bachelors of Business Administration Degree with an emphasis in Marketing, Management, and Finance. She has been in the insurance industry for over 10 years. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and kids, traveling, and rooting on the Huskers!
Shelby Kovarik:
Shelby is the newest member of Stuchlik & Associates Team, joining in January 2022. She is a newly licensed agent providing customer support to the agency with personal lines. She brings over a decade of experience in customer service. She has a passion for travel, health, and fitness. She enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends.

Stuchlik & Associates' roots were started In 1964, when Larry Stuchlik decided to venture off of his father’s agency and established the Lawrence E. Stuchlik Insurance Agency. Larry grew the agency with the use of two primary companies until his son, Michael Stuchlik, joined him in 1985. Over the course of 20 very successful years, the agency grew in size and the number of companies they represent; many of which relationships exist to this day. In 2005, the agency took on some changes when Michael purchased the agency and added a new business partner, Deon Dragoo. Even now, more than 25 years after this venture began, Larry continues to work and service his clients along side Michael and Deon.
